Medano Beach Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico

This encompasses Medano Beach from the centre near Club Cascadas.  It takes in the famous 'Lands End' rocks which are the furthust south point of the Baja Peninsula extending down from California.  The state is Baja California South, or BCS for short.  The climate is very temperate because of its latitude and its location on the west coast.  There is very little rainfall.

Cabo San Lucas used to be a sleepy fishing village but that changed at least in part because Bing Crosby built the Hacienda Resort to host his friends, and the Banks off the Pacific coast became famous for its sport fishing - marlin, dorado, sailfish, tuna.

It is now a thriving port of call for many cruise ships plying the West Coast from San Diego and San Francisco south.  Airline connections are excellent with direct flights from many places in USA and Canada, and to the mainland of Mexico.
