Pleasure of this day memorable for Sestroretsk shared with the citizens the Deputy head of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Alexander Beglov, the spouse of the President of Russia Svetlana Medvedeva and the governor of Saint-Petersburg Valentina Matvienko.

Sestroretsk is the part of 11 municipal formations of Kurortnyj area of Saint-Petersburg and it is the largest settlement among them – there are about 40 thousand of persons living in it. But in summer months the quantity of Sestroretsk citizens increases greatly as well as in the settlements building this municipal formation: Kurort, Razliv, Tarhovka, Aleksandrovskaya and Gorskaya settlements.
