東京都内にもこんなひまわり畑ができました。武蔵村山市の団地内の遊休地を利用してひまわり畑をつくるプロジェクトが発足し、市民などが参加して種を植えたんだそうです。50万本分の種を調達して植えたとのことですが、先に植えた北半分が満開となりました。今年は猛暑の日が続きますがひまわりは元気です。
