Tittling - Panorama vom Blümersberg
Bavaria

From the Tittlingen market square, a wonderful ten-minute walk leads to the Blümersberg. From here you have a great panoramic view in almost all directions. When it is foehn, you can see as far as the Alps. Since 2012 there has also been a labyrinth on the Blümersberg.

The most beautiful vantage point in the lower Bavarian Forest. Until 2001 a height of 571 meters.

From 2001, due to the construction of another long-distance water storage tank, increased to the current height of 575.74 meters. Because of the wonderful panoramic view, the mountain attracts many visitors. Including none other than the first Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Theodor Heuss, who was also enthusiastic about this wonderful view during a visit in 1954. The local poet Franz Schrönghamer Heimdal and the native Tittlinger Max Peinkofer already described the beauty of this mountain in their poems and songs.

More About Bavaria

The “Free State of Bavaria” is renowned for being culturally unique and for the emphasis which it places on preserving its heritage and traditions. It is also extraordinarily beautiful, boasting a plethora of castles, palaces, cathedrals, abbeys and monasteries not to mention spectacular scenery. Bavaria is more than Alps, men in “lederhosen” (leather pants), women in “dirndl” (traditional dresses) and frothy glasses of beer by the “maβ” (liter).
