炎帝陵殿：
1、炎帝陵殿位于湖南省炎陵县炎陵山（又名皇山）西麓，是炎帝陵景区的主体景点，沿陵墓南北纵轴线均衡对称布局，坐北朝南，南临洣水，南北长73.4米，东西宽40米，面积4936平方米，建筑面积903平方米。陵园红墙黄瓦，古木参天，庄严肃穆，气势恢宏。
2、炎帝陵陵殿为四进，园内沿轴线自南向北依次为：午门→行礼亭→陵殿→墓碑亭→炎帝墓冢→九鼎台→御碑园→弧形壁照。
3、这里是一进午门内，进入午门正中台阶嵌有盘龙龙陛，取名龙蟠虎踞，龙陛后有汉白玉“炎帝陵”石碑，左右分列雄健的山鹰和白鹿花岗岩石雕。
4、二进是行礼亭，采用庑殿顶，前后檐各四柱落脚的三开间长方亭，面宽14.03米，进深8.33米，正上悬挂周培源手书“民族始祖、光照人间”匾额，亭前嵌双龙戏珠陛，取名双龙起舞。亭中设香炉、烛台，供人们进香祭拜行礼之用。行礼亭左右为卷棚硬山式碑房，收集了历代告祭文残碑8块。
