This is the apple tree planted in the cemetery at St Mary's church Langley in memory of Jim Allgrove the local apple grower and seller at J.C. Allgrove the specialist apple nursery that was celebrated for growing 500 different varieties of apple. He died in 2002 at the age of 68. He was also the captain of the bell tower at St Mray's.
