Bonneville Shoreline Trail, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

In the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah, the Bonneville Shoreline Trail stretches along the high water mark of the ancient Lake Bonneville.  The trail, used by hikers and bikers, offers great views of the towns and cities along the Wasatch Front.

This viewpoint is located above the Avenues Neighborhood of Salt Lake City west of the Twin Peaks and north of the 18th avenue access point.  Downtown Salt Lake is easily visible from this vantage point.
