Hallidie Building on Sutter Street
San Francisco
This was one of the world's first steel-frame glass curtain-walled buildings, by San Francisco architect Willis Polk. It was built in 1917-18, renovated in 2010-13. It was named for Andrew Hallidie, the inventor of the cable car.
