The Italian Chapel is all that is left of Camp 60 where Italian Prisoners of War were housed during the building of the Churchill Barriers. The Italians were adimant that they were helping to build causways between the islands to disassociate their work from any war work.

The Italian Chapel is made from two nissin huts end to end and then decorated to give the illusion of plasterwork etc.
