Kanzlerin Merkel erhält in Aachen den Karlpreis 2008

Deutschlands Kanzlerin Angela Merkel hat den Karlpreis 2008 für Ihr Engagement in Sachen Europa erhalten und tritt gerade aus dem Aachener Rathaus (weisses Jackett mittig vor dem Rathaus). Neben ihr Frankreichs Ministerpräsident Nicolai Sarcozi, der vorher eine sehr emotionale Laudatio gehalten hatte.
