Naadam is a traditional Mongolian festival held in mid-July called Eriin gurvan naadam or "The three men games". It is a fascinating expression of Mongolian nomadic culture, traditional free fight, traditional horse racing and archery are practiced.

In the photo, the valley prepares for the races and the men with their horses gather. In the foreground an "ovoo" pile of shamanic culture stones
