21 June 2009. The new Acropolis Museum opens its doors to the public after 33 years since the process for its creation started. It has exhibition space of over 14,000 square meters, ten times more than the old museum that was on the Acropolis hill and the 3rd floor has direct visual contact with the ancient temple.
