This gear set is a memorial statue for the old Kallansilta railway bridge, that was in use since 1965 to year 2012. It was colloquially known as 'Saksanseisoja', Finnish for German Pointer, for the way it stood up and sometimes got stuck in that position causing long traffic jams on Viitostie.
