Summer at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympic Ski Jump

The first Olympic Ski Jump at Mount Gudiberg was built in 1923, before the decision to hold the 1936 Winter Olympics Games at in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Olympic Ski Jump of course, has been modernised, it was replaced completely with a new 100-metre start tower.

Traditionally, a ski jumping contest is held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on New Year's Day, and the 2011 Alpine World Ski Championships will be hold here.
