The Mituo Seaside Recreational Area is the first coastal recreational place in Kaohsiung. The beach is part of the "Golden Coast" that stretches over the Zih-guan, Mituo and Yong'an Districts. The over 20 kilometers long sand belt shines glittering gold under the sun with the glimmering blue water beyond, even in the dusk. Besides water activities, visitors are able to find facilities along the beach such as the bicycle track and a park in the windbreak that has a place for BBQ. Visitors are too able to find Egrets around the area.
