Siena, Duomo Santa Maria Assunta - Cathedral Our Holy Mary of Assumptions and view of parts of the Duomo Nuovo
Tuscany

The cathedral is built in Tuscan Gothic style and was finished in the midth of the 13th century. Dominating elements of the outside appearance are façade, bell tower and dome. To the right of bell tower and north aisle you can see parts of the "Duomo Nuovo" that remained unfinished.

The Tuscany, one of the most beautiful Italian regions, is known throughout the world for its Landscapes and for the Works of Art that it houses (It is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance).
