Tower House Ruin, San Juan County, Utah, USA
Utah

The Tower House Ruin is a roughly 1000 year-old cliff dwelling located about 10 miles west of Blanding, Utah, USA.  It is also known as the "Waterfall Ruin" as during rainfall a waterfall falls over the cave opening.

Two buildings remain standing - many have fallen prey to the elements.  In the lower cave can be seen the outline of a traditional Kiva.  There are also visible in this image some petroglyphs on the cave walls.

This site can be reached by a short 1/4 mile hike down a slick-rock ravine to the northwest of the cave.
