Ermita de la Virgen de la Sierra (Herrera de los Navarros)

Santuario de Herrera at the top of the mountain

Sanctuary related to the appearance of the Virgin to a coal, since become a place of pilgrimage and patronage. Recently it is building a hospice to become a holiday destination. According to Father Faci this chapel was built in the year 1504, although the building preserved today belongs to the XVII and XVIII.

Several processions are held on April 23, Easter and Pentecost celebrations. Recently it has recovered dance composed in the eighteenth century Boniface of Oz.

Sanctuary of the Virgen de Herrera

 

La Ermita de Herrera de los Navarros, Township landmark, rises to 1,350 meters.
