Zhong Zheng Lake is one of the favorite spots in the Meinong District and is known for its serene natural beauty and easy accessibility to urban residents. The surrounding park is 21 hectares big. Visitors are just one fence away from the clear, partially duckweed-covered water, and bicycle-riders are welcome. A classic Chinese-style pagoda, connecting the walkway around the lake, stands in the lake for the visitors to rest and view the surrounding green. During sunrise and sunset, birds can be seen at the lake resting or preying amid the light and shadow of the day.
