This rampart covers the south-western corner of the Venetian walls and took its name from the homonym orthodox church of Aghios Dimitrios that existed in the area of "Kryo Vrysali". The homonym circular rampart is preserved intact, after several restoration works conducted by the Ephorat of Byzantine Antiquities. At its top, the parapetto and the canon holes were found during the excavations.
