Valendo pelo seu conjunto, podemos todavia destacar alguns elementos da fortificação com valor individual: a cisterna grande, dos finais da Idade Média / princípios da Idade Moderna, de enormes dimensões, e a existência de um albacar que, se a topografia sempre o aconselharia, não podemos esquecer a tradição árabe de construção de alcáçovas.
