Situated in Chongde Village, Tianliao District, Moon World Scenic Pond mainly functions as a detention pond. After the city government undertook environmental improvements, a scenic trail was laid out along the pond to add a touch of green and enhance its recreational function. The improvements were completed on January 12, 2012, making this site a new tourist spotlight in the Moon World.
