On the top of the bunker B356
France

This is a view from above the bunker B356 ("Pont-du-Chateau"). This is a 1rst MR-Da type double bunker, of the Maginot line, located in the zone of Mouchin. The shot was taken in april 2011, in the end of the afternoon. Panorama made in HDR version (enfuse).

France is affectionately referred to as "the Hexagon" for its overall shape.French history goes back to the Gauls, a Celtic tribe which inhabited the area circa 300BC until being conquered by Julius Caesar.The Franks were the first tribe to adopt Catholic Christianity after the Roman Empire collapsed.
