Kütahya il merkezinde, Çavuşçiftliği Köyü’nün batısında yer alır. Mevziler kıvrımlı bir şekilde yapılmış, bazı kesimlerinde geniş mevzi alanları oluşturulmuştur. Çatal Tepe’nin karşısında tescilli tarihi sit alanı Yumruçal Tepe Şehitliği bulunmaktadır. Kütahya-Eskişehir Muharebeleri hattında önemli bir savunma noktasıdır.
