Bergamo: Visconti Castle (Rocca) in Urgnano - Main gate

This is the main gate of the "Rocca di Urgnano", a castle that was built by Visconti, rulers of Milan, in the second half of 14th century. The building is well preserved in the original status. In the middle of 15th century the town of Urgnano passed from Milan to the Venice goverment.
