The aim of the pilgrimage "Walldürn" is the Holy Blood Altar. The pilgrimage "Zum Heiligen Blut" dates back to 1330. The cup, which stood on the altar, fell, and the wine flowed over the underlying corporal. It painted a picture of the crucified Christ, surrounded by eleven "Veronicae”.
