Besigheim in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Swabia (South-West of Germany). Besigheim, eine historische Kleinstadt und Erholungsort zwischen Neckar und Enz. Altstadt mit Stadtmauer und Rathaus. Auf der Enzbruecke. Blick auf Enzwehr, dahinter die Westliche Stadtmauer, Rathaus, Schochenturm.

Anscheinend hat auch Barack Obama, ehemaliger Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, seine Wurzeln in Besigheim. Ein Vorfahre auf seiner Mutter’s Seite, Johann Conrad Wölfle, wurde im Jahre 1729 in Besigheim geboren.
Barack Obama, the US President, has some distant roots in Besigheim: Apparently one of his ancestors on his mother’s side, Johann Conrad Wölfle, was born here in 1729.
