West of Al Wakrah, in the flat rocky desert, are a group of crescent shaped sand dunes. These dunes are a little special: they sing.

This phenomenon accurs in particular conditions of wind and humidity. The flowing grains of sand will emit a kind of vibration, a low pitch sound: the singing of the dunes.
