The 4800m pass above Laguna Quesillacocha is made less strenuous than one would realize by the engrossing scenery en route. Here the view is taken on a side-trip up the top where I found a nice spot that straddles amongst the several valleys below - I have no clue as to the names of the lakes dotting here and there nor to the peaks except the ones near the pass - but the view is still superb nonetheless. The alternative route which is less photogenic and bypasses this rather difficult pass is via the trail near the lake down below apparently - the highest point then is only 4600m.

Brazil is the largest country in South America and home to one of the world's best parties, Carnaval. Have you heard of samba music? How about bossa nova? Maybe dancing for three days straight?
