Scott Boulevard Baptist Church originated just over 60 years ago. Its worship is rooted in Baptist freedoms but draws from the deep well of Christian practice of all denominations. The official religious body with which it affiliates is the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. The church building is scheduled to be torn down in 2013 to make way for a shopping center.
