Kapellen im Kalvarienberg.
Als Kalvarienberg bezeichnet man ursprünglich die Hinrichtungsstätte Jesu Christi auf den Hügeln vor Jerusalem bzw. auch Nachbildungen der Kreuzigungsszene.
Kalvarienberge gibt es heute in verschiedenen Orten in vielen Ländern. Es handelt sich um etwa lebensgroße Nachbildungen der Kreuzigungsgruppe wie es auch hier in Wettenhausen der Fall ist und von Katholiken als sakrale Stätte benutzt wird.
