This pano was taken on a dock of one of San Pedro's many boutique resorts. San Pedro is a small town on the island of Ambergris Caye (am-bur-gris key) off the coast of Belize and only 25 miles long and one mile wide. Known widely as a destination for scuba diving, the reef located a quarter mile from shore is part of the largest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere. Besides being an ideal location for diving, snorkeling and all manner of water sports, access to Belize's extraordinary Mayan ruins and pristine rainforest is just a short boat or plane ride away. Rounded off with numerous restaurants and bars, San Pedro is the perfect vacation destination.
