What was once a Pre-Colombian Village is now a park. Northwest of Bogota, the little town of Facatavita and a smaller area called Tunjo has fantastic rock formations, this one was painted with Colombian heroic portraits

The Aquarium is a sand bar close to Jonny Key. The shallow warm waters are a favorite hangout of a variety of rays. Good place to snorkel! On the weekends this is a favorite hagout for the locals.

Bogota, Colombia. A city of about 8 million people and you can see the entire place from atop Monserrate! This is the most spectacular view of any city that I have been to.

Cave of the pirate Captian Morgan. Long and deep, hot and humid. Divers have found sea turtles and other exotics. Treasure was kept under water here. You don't believe in ghost stories... well yer in one!

In front of the Planetario de Bogota. My Father-in-law and his good friend Don Able were kind enough to take me around the city. Next to the planetario is a bullfighting ring.

Pat Bowlen, the owner of the Denver Broncos Commisioned this sculpture by an Italian artist. It cost several million dollars (not sure exactly how much). "It's good to be the king!"

South end zone one the track that surrounds the football field looking North. This new stadium is impressive! This is probably the only I will get to be in here. I can't afford to take my family to a game.

Going West on Interstate 80 about 10 or 15 miles out of Casper there are some nice rock formations. Spiritually important to the Native Americans this area now attracts rock climbers.

Red Rocks - The Top

This is the view from the top of Red Rocks Amphitheater. On a clear night the city light of Denver illuminate the sky. On a hot day loaded with camera equipment you can really break a sweat climbing the stairs.

Standing in a courtyard across the steet from the Denver Art Museum and right next to the rear entrance of the Library. The red abstract modern art piece dominates the space.

This is where Cherry Creek and the South Platte rivers merge and continue a Northern course. Kiakers paradise in the spring runoff there is an REI sporting goods store just to the south where you can try out some kiaks.
