新潟県十日町にある、ブナの木が一面に広がる美人林です。春から夏は新緑に、秋は紅葉に、冬は豪雪地帯なので雪に埋もれるブナなど春夏秋冬で違う景色が楽しめるほか、野鳥やリスなどの野生動物もみることができます。紅葉は11月上旬～が見頃です。

新潟県の清津峡トンネルの手前の風景です。有料のトンネルは、渓谷を眺めることができる穴がいくつかあいているようです。

弥彦公園のもみじ谷です。真紅の観月橋を中心にもみじの木がひしめきあっています。まだ少し早かったようで、見ごろは11月上旬～だと思います。

新潟県の弥彦駅前です。目の前のホテルは閉鎖しており荒れています。秋には弥彦公園のもみじの紅葉や弥彦神社の菊まつりなどが見所です。

星峠の棚田です。大河ドラマ「天地人」のオープニングでこの棚田の風景が使われたそうで、ここから少し先にトイレなどもあります。またこの辺りではあちこちに棚田があり、撮影ポイントまで用意してあります。

栃木県日光にある竜頭の滝です。龍頭之茶屋からは２つの滝が流れ落ちるのを見ることができます。紅葉の見ごろは10月下旬～。

It is a high mountain city that is called like Kyoto in Hida. The tourist from foreign countries is beautiful in spring a lot of cherry blossoms.
