加羅湖是加羅湖中最大的一個湖,位於宜蘭縣四季山區,很漂亮的高山湖泊,也是太加縱走必經之處。湖邊遼闊,適合多頂帳棚。四周水流匯集到湖中,很不幸的,四周到處都是地雷區,便便到處是,湖水看似乾淨,其實儼然是個"化糞湖"。

Dar-Kuang, Heng-Kuang creek

This creek locates at Heng-Kuang, Dar-Kuang, Taichung. Almost no pollution in the creek. Water is very clear and full of small fish and shrimp. My mom is washing her clothes after gardening.

Initially, the Yu shan observation ground and offce were at two different spots. The observation ground was at the peak and office was benith the peak. Now, the office is moved up to the peak.

Yu Shan north-north peak is located at the north of Yu-Shan N-Peak. It is the reidge extension from N-Peak. A good spot to see the sunrise and sunset. However, most of the hikers don't reach this peak.

Yu Shan (Jade Mountain) is the highest mountain in Taiwan - 3952 meters above the sea level. Plan for two days will enough to reach the peak. Usually close out in winter.

This is a helicopter landing spot by the Yu-Shan N-peak weather station. It is the highest heli landing spot in Tawain and it is used quite often for training purpose.

This is the central weather bureau weather station at Yu-Shan N-peak 3858m height. It is also the highest building in Taiwan. The meteorologists are taking weather data all year around.
