A narrowboat makes it's way up the Leeds-Liverpool canal near Wigan. There's nothing quick about narrowboats. Perhaps the forced slow-down in pace is something we all need once in a while, a reminder of times gone by.

Inside the new combined Wigan Council Offices ( behind the frosted glass ), Public Baths and Gym.The floor of the pool rises to allow disabled access and to keep my feet dry while taking this panorama.

Stained glass window hanging in the Forest of Dean, part of the Sculpture Trail, erected in 1986. I expect it has been repaired quite a few times over the years.
