One of the streets of the village, a dressmaker still operates from here providing wedding and other dresses. A baker is available and the church itself is still in use.

Since june 2011 a KLM Fokker 100 is on display on the panorama terrace of Schiphol airport. In the front the cockpit can be seen through a glass wall. On the inside walls the history of Fokker aircraft is displayed.

Since june 2011 a KLM Fokker 100 is on display on the panorama terrace of Schiphol airport. This type of plane is currently not in use anymore by KLM, but the Dutch Royal family still uses it.
