Some hours by foot away north of the Begnas - Lake you found these magnificent vantage point. In good visibility the Annapurna massif and the mountain massif of the Manaslu are visible.

Above the village Bandipur you will find this viewpoint. In good visibility the Annapurna massif and the mountain massif of the Manaslu are good to recognize. Also the massif of the Ganesh is good to see.

The climb towards Thorung La Pass (5416m) is gradual and is marked along the way by metal poles. The trail is mostly on sandy terrain for the steepest part which I find quite challenging with a big heavy backpack......

The valley opens up before manang into a vast  golden field. The small hamlet of Bhraka nested into the mountain side is not entirely out of place from a setting in Star Wars.On the left is Annapurna III(7555m).
