My mailing address is Tampa Florida. But Tampa Bay is my home. Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Iv'e been here for more than thirty years. The Tampa Bay area is home to the best steakhouse on the planet - Bern's Steakhouse , in Tampa- the best beaches on the planet - Sunset Beach, Pass-a-Grille, Honeymoon Island, in Pinellas County and Winter, the dolphin,  at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. I got my formal education here at the University of South Florida and I got a whole lot of informal education here as well. At places like the Porpoise Pub in Seminole, Gasoline Alley in Clearwater and the Sunset Club in Tampa. Life is Good.

Με σπουδές στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών στην Ελβετία, πέρα από τη φωτογραφία, συνέχισε με κινηματογράφο, μορφολογία προσώπου και γραφικό σχέδιο(graphic design).

Με ασίγαστο πάθος, ευαισθησία και επαγγελματισμό ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του με άμεση συνεργασία με το διεθνές πρακτορείο μοντέλων ELITE στη Γαλλία, με το διεθνούς κυκλοφορίας περιοδικό VOGUE και με εξαιρετικές φωτογραφικές καλύψεις fashion shows. Η καλλιτεχνική του πορεία συνεχίστηκε και στην Ελλάδα αιχμαλωτίζοντας με τον φακό του την γοητεία Ελληνίδων καλλονών – χωρίς να παραλείπει ωστόσο την καλλιτεχνική κάλυψη γάμων και βαπτίσεων αλλά και την απαθανάτιση της πανέμορφης φύσης.

Εκφράζει την εμπειρία από τα ταξίδια του σε πολλές χώρες και την επαφή του με διάφορες παραδόσεις με ευαισθησία και αυθορμητισμό στην κάθε φωτογραφία η οποία την καθιστά μοναδική.

My name is William Ricci.  I am currently a freshman at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  I've been studying panoramic photography for nearly a year.  I want to travel to secluded areas and record beauty that most people will never see.  I'm working to mimic reality as much as possible.

Camera Sphaericagraphica

Conventional photography constrains us to flat, rectangular pictures. An 8x10” frame held at arms length only captures less than 1% of the entire visible sphere around us. This area is minuscule and neglects 99% of the world.

We compensate by snapping more pictures, assembling them into a montage to tell the whole story. But we have grown accustomed to this technique and are conditioned to think this is the only way to capture the world because it closely resembles the world as we perceive it. But how do other animals, without binocular vision, view the world? What about flies and birds and reptiles with panoramic vision? Or insects who can see in the non-visible spectrum? They see the world differently but their perspective is not “wrong”.

Open your mind and look at the world as it truly is, through a different lens, the 720° sphere fully surrounding us.
