After hiking up to the Brienzer Rothorn, I finally took the cable car to go down to Sörenberg and from there with the Postauto to Schüpfheim.

Im ältesten Urbar von Schloss Tirol findet man bereits im Jahr 1285 den Vorgängerhof des heutigen Talbauers vermerkt. Damals gab es vermutlich noch keine Materialseilbahn.

Diese alte Materialseilbahn führte einst vom Hupfleitenjoch (1754m) zu den Knappenhäusern (1526m) hinab.Oben beim Osterfelderkopf ist die Alpspix Aussichtsplattform zu erkennen.
