The cactus garden in the Capitol Park in downtown Sacramento.  Tucked off in the southeast corner of the park it isn't the centerpiece (the capitol building is obviously!), but it is one of my favorite parts of the park.

The crypt is located directly underneath the rotunda. The purpose of the pillars is to support the massive weight of the cast iron dome that covers the rotunda.
