There is going to be a big change in this area sometime during 2013-14. This railway crossing will be gone and the track will be lower and the Mitcham Road will have a bridge in this section.

Die Wanderung vom Brauneck zum Latschenkopf (1712m) ist sehr beliebt und kann auch mit kleineren Kindern gemacht werden. Allerdings ist es wegen dem bequemen Zugang über die Brauneck Bergbahn meist ziemlich voll.
