Woke up early to see this St. Patty's Day greeting. A green sky. Very active Aurora when I can look to the south and see the lights. Definitely worth the missed sleep. My wife and I enjoyed the show.

It is a long three mile hike to Magnificent. Notice all of the false peaks along the ridge. There is a lot of up and down in both directions, but it is worth the hike. All of the false peaks provide amazing views.

On the way to Mount Magnificent from Mile Hi Trailhead. I took this pano just before entering the cloud ceiling. It is nice to see all of the peaks, but it is also quite enjoyable hiking through the clouds.

This photo is a little deceiving, this is not a steep place at this photo, but this comes out looking a little flatter than it actually is. A great way to spend a Saturday is in the Chugach - or any day for that matter.

This is a nice little lookout on the way to the Rapids Camp at the Eagle River Nature Center. There is nothing like a sunny spring day after a period of dark and gloomy weather.

A nice sunny day walking around the Eagle River Nature Center. Just slighlty off the trail. I need to verify the location; I might be slightly off.

A cold spring night at the Eagle River Nature Center. The stars were out and you can see the lights from Anchorage. I was hoping to catch the aurora, but it was not out when I was.
