休息一會後沿靈象另一邊山徑下山，在第一個警告牌的前方往右下行，不久，在第二個危險警告牌左方再向下走。初段比較陡斜，略需手足並用，途中看到左方狹谷向下伸延。繼續沿山脊行走，不久已漸看到山下的麥理浩徑，於警告牌左方的山徑下山，初段斜度也十分大及有些碎石，需用手來扶助，最後到達山坳及接上麥理浩徑。
