The end result of a long morning hiking up to the South Summit of Mt. Jefferson in Nevada. Just shy of 12,000 feet, it is one of the highest points in the state. With lightning on three sides, we didn't stick around!

Along a walking trail in Doi Inthanon Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The high elevation (it's the highest point in Thailand) allows for a different forest biome than is normally seen in tropical Thailand.
