八ヶ岳連峰の北横岳。この日は氷点下18℃位で風が強かった。初めて高所ポールを使ってパノラマを撮ってみたのだけども、シャッターを遠隔で操作するのが難しく、何度も撮り直しをして40分位経ってしまい、手先足先が痺れてきて寒くて大変だった。

赤城山の最高峰黒檜山（1828ｍ）の山頂より少し北へ行ったところにある展望地からのパノラマ。谷川岳、武尊山、尾瀬の山、日光の山などが見えた。低い気温と湿った空気と強い風により生成された霧氷が青空に映えて素晴らしかった。

秩父の丸山（960m）展望台からの眺め。秩父、前橋、熊谷等の市街、武甲山・両神山等奥秩父の山、遠くには赤城山、浅間山、八ヶ岳などが見える。芦ヶ久保駅からのハイキングであれば2時間程度、車を使えば最短10分程度で登る事が出来るがコースが多いので色々組み合わせると楽しい。
