Julian's Bower is a unicursal turf maze in the village of Alkborough on the hill top overlooking Trent Falls. It is thought to have been cud by monks in the 12th century.

The Humber bridge is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Opened in 1981, it was the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world until 1998.
