Soft sand and warm wind (even though it was blowing 50 MPH). Trees become hypnotic as they sway in the blue sky.

Not 50 feet from this ocean berm on the park side you'd hardly know the wind was blowing. Very sheltered and great for volleyball games.

This is the farthest northwest that I went on this beach. There is plenty of room for everyone.

Very windy the day we visited. This road leads into a very quaint neighborhood residing right on the ocean shore. Good view of numerous sea kayakers going to and from small off-shore island.

The water seems to display so many hues of blue and green, really spectacular. This quiet, but steep, hillside commands a great view of the Kailua Beach Park.
