This caribbean version of "Lady Liberty" was scuplted by Bonev in memory of the victims of slavery. It was inaugurated in 2007 for the 159th anniversary of the abolition of slavery.

I'm not sure what this part of the Marigot city in Saint-Martin (French West Indies) was and is now supposed to be. A small square with decorated pillars from a former building? It has been like that for years.
