Metsovo is very famous for its gastronomy and even more famous for the metsovone smoked cheese. You definitly have to taste some when visiting.

Metsovo is one of the most traditional and well preserved towns on the mountains of Greece. It was build at an altitude of 1154m and is now a very hospitable wintre resort.
